The HPM shield system is an extremely versatile RF shielding system, suitable for the most demanding EMC, TEMPEST and RF protection requirements.
The SmartShield HPM system is of an extremely high performance and rugged construction.
Particularly adapted to the latest Anechoic linkings of Ferrite and Hybrid Pyramidial type materials, RF performance is very broadband with high levels of attenuation. The HPM room would typically be used for 3 metre, 5 metre and 10 metre EMC Anechoic lined rooms.
Rugged construction, flexible size and configuration makes this the best choice for high performance EMC test chambers.
New levels of TEMPEST testing require a very high level of RF attenuation and the SmartShield HPM system provides excellent broadband attenuation even during this most demanding environment.
The panels are preformed into ‘trays’ using 2.0mm thick zinc coated mild steel. The action of the zinc coating is twofold; it provides a finish which is corrosion resistant and protects the steel by a sacrificial action as well as having excellent electrical resistance properties ensuring that contact between the panels and the jointing mechanism is of the necessary high standard. During installation, the panels are able to be assembled with the smooth side or tray side facing into the room depending on use and preference.
The panels may be cut to any desired size so that the size of the final enclosure is infinitely variable and can be designed to make the best possible use of the available space within the parent building.
The panels are shop cut and marked to a set of general assembly drawings so that installation time is kept to a minimum. The panels are bolted together at 100mm centres with a solid TCS (Tin Copper Steel) knit mesh gasket between each of the panel joints.
